put another bed in that room and take off about 25 square feet and that’s a real dorm room.

try looking on the college/university website for a packing list there should be one so you do not have to call and should have the size of the bed listed. look at the dorm room details so there will be no surprises because not all rooms will have drawers wether it is a dresser or chest of drawers as soon as you find out what dorm you will be in
@tweety9102 you can’t pick what beds are in your dorm room, they come in the room. and there isnt really space for bed side tables, either.
this is probably a sample oversized dorm room but you can really get an idea of what to do with limited space
