I’ve been watching repeats of Ryan’s Hope on Soap Net for six months. I didn’t know that the actor that played the character of Bob Reid for 19 yrs on Ryan’s Hope was the same actor who played Wilson on Home Improvement. I’m enjoying seeing his face and watching his performances as a young man on Ryan’s Hope.

    RIP Mr. Hindman.

Six months before Earl died I had the priviledge of acting with him in a small movie about an older waterman being aided by a mermaid. A couple evenings he and I sat around and had a beer and talked. A nice man – not a bad legacy.

@pethcir LOL dude if you’re sleeping in a room with Mickey Mouse wallpaper, I’d say you’ve got bigger problems than how to take it off the walls :) (sorry I’m just kidding with you, it just made me laugh when I first read your comment)

  31. brucey39 says:

Well just peel of the vinyl top layer and then hot soak the backing off

  32. chrisforfar says:

we just use hot water n a wall brush. its alot quicker than doin that . usin that is just lazy

  33. pethcir says:

Awesome! Can’t wait to get rid of this damn Mickey Mouse border I’ve got in my room. Thanks!

  34. ronhazelton says:

No, I have not, it sounds like it would be worth a try, though. Many of the commercial products use enzymes that actually break down the paste and/or adhesive. The acetic acid in vinegar may do the same thing.

  35. jereisluke says:

Ronhazelton: I saw another site that said vinegar mixed with warm water also works to soak the paper, have you ever tried that?

  36. 7downs says:

test before you use the paper tiger.. You DON”T want to use it on solid vinyl. and don’t push too hard.

    thank you !!!!!!!!!1

  40. dannyspl says:

water based degreasers work the best to absorb into the paper. use gloves and ventilate the area. DIF is for the do it your self consumer. Pros dont use it.

  41. niceday8888 says:

Other than the information you give is great, I love your voice and the calm way you talk, it make the job sound easier already. Thanks.

  42. ronhazelton says:

Yes, patience is key. I like to say let the chemicals do all (or most) of the work.
