Just watch and read the annotations THis is for people who know the basics when installing new firmwares on the original R4 only . 1.Format/or delete everything 2.Download the file from Filetrip. 3.Extract using WinRar 4.Connect your micro SD to you computer 5.Look for the _rpg and Ds menu DAT 6. Copy paste it into the root of your card. 7. Remove the micro sd from the computer and put it back to your R4 and thats it, Thats how to simply install nothing more, nothing less. or you could PM me. and for cheats problems, go to _rpg Open the global settings or w/eu call it. Change the cheat-0 to cheat-1 To add the database from gbatemp, just put it in the cheats folder. To enable the cheats Wood, press start press settings From the settings, go to patches make sure CHEAT IN GAME(AR) is ON For Noobs, just focus. Doing this is a simple task. Thank you for showing the how to’s. Seeing is understanding. I am prepping properly an it is taking a while to do. The painting will be easy after this. However, everyone is saying that I should just slap the paint on and I have opted to do it right, this video confirms my approach.
@MrAlanKendall I agree. I would, and am also using a heatgun to remove loose thick paint.

Great Video, I liked the methodical steps. If the home has not been painted in many years, I would prime all surfaces that are going to be painted to reduce the burn effect of old oxydized paint that burns threw the new paint. After a 1 to 3 years the oxydation below causes the new paint to peel off. Be sure and use exterior primer and be sure the primer is for the type of surface you are priming.
what’s the difference between the exterior spackling compound and the wood filler?

Wood only works for Original kernels like 1.18 right?
@lordpyrox111 Download Wood R4 v. 1.20 (latest version) google it. Then format your SD card. Save the games in a folder. Put the _rpg and DSMENU.DAT on the root of your R4. Get your folder (where you put your games and your saves in) and put it on the root of your R4. To make sure your old sav. files are readable, rename your save into: EXAMPLE – Pokemon is the name of ur game, so its Pokemon.nds so then rename the save that was originally Pokemon.sav into Pokemon.nds.sav It should work!
@socceranthonyquispe Yes. You will need moonshell and its moonshl folder. Download the latest R4 Kernel (google it) and extract the MSHL.NDS and the moonshl folder onto the root of your R4.
mine’s stuck and all it says is “Loading…” and everything is black.

Anyways get to my point when i was using Karnel or what ever some of the games i downloaded had cheats at the bottom before i start up the game. Now that im using Wood r4.. How do i get the cheats?. Still got the same games and all that..
